But to try to tear down/minimize favre's accomplishments is asanine. Good post. This is the point I am at now...I can't root for the Vikings, Favre is my favorite player since James Lofton....What a dilema. I don't root for the Vikings or Favre, I just admire the things he accomplishes and how he plays.

Vs the Bears.

Favre was 26 completions of 40 attempts for 321 yards, 2 TD's and no picks. A QB Passer Rating of 106. He played his heart out in the second half to bring the Vikings back to tie the game very late in the fourth quarter and send it to OT. Anyone who saw that game and is aware of what he did as the Vikings QB shouldn't be saying, seriously, that Favre melted down in that game.

The Vikings have some serious issues on their OL and trying to defend the deep pass among other things. Favre is a long ways from being a problem, moreso a serious issue with his team.
