Honestly, Dan, this game reminds me of the week 17 Packers/Cardinals game.

And Jimmy Johnson defined the opposite viewpoint. I'd say the situations are the same. If the Packers were classless then so were the Vikings. If what the Packers did was OK, then what the Vikings did was OK.

We'll see the next time the Cowboys play the Vikings. I think the Cardinals were pretty clear on their viewpoint.

The Packers pulled their starters early in the 3rd quarter and then basically ran out the clock when Flynn came in.

That is night and day from throwing a pass on 4th down at the end of a game.

The Packers pulled AROD early 3rd quarter. Many of their starters played way long than that.

Starters, backups, whatever. The Packers changed the way they were playing the game. When Flynn came in you can't honestly sit here and tell me they were still playing all out trying to run up the score.

And I honestly don't even care about the Vikings scoring at the end, since my team wasn't involved. I just think it's a BS comparison to even compare that to the Packers.

Whatever, I just hope the Vikings get the shit kicked out of them next week.

I'm not gonna go back and look at their comments, but I remember Whisenhunt complaining that Rodgers was still in the game to open the 3rd quarter. Completely different that what the Vikings did.

Besides, don't you think it's possible Whisenhunt said what he did as motivation for his team, regardless of whether he actually believed it or not?
