Fine post other than the whole "Don't judge him for doing things we'd do ourselves" line. I'd never ever become a Viking, no matter how much they paid me or how good they are. There's some lines you just don't cross.
I call BS! maybe not a Vike fan, but if they knocked on your door with a contract you'd be purple in a second.
Bo Schembechler was scouting a player on our HS Football team and said he might be interested in a couple years to see me in maize and blue. I told him not to send the papers. Still have the pictures of Bo and me in a scrapbook.
Barry Alverez pissed me off so much last year that if my son when he gets old enough and plays football I would tell him to go to Mich, Ohio St or somewhere down South.
The AD pissed you off so much? Over what?
An event at Bergamont CC, was talking to BA and he walked away mid-sentence because I wasn't a "big player/contributor" at the UW. He could have at least excused himself. Then later at Ruth's Chris he came to say hello but stopped half way, with no one else at the bar, and walked back to Cindy.
Ok.
Seems kinda dumb. The AD shouldn't be a consideration when deciding on where to play football.
Yes because that's the only change in the Jets org this year.

I love it when some of you start spewing stats when defending him. The only stat that matters is the one in the win column. If Rodgers keeps playing the way he has been that stat will be close to last years. Granted the line isn't great, but great QB's find a way to win.

Correction:
Jets - Bert = AFC championship game
WTF are you getting at Ty,you still are not making a valid point.

He is just trying to stir shit and get himself banned again. Basic math.
Any clear attempts at this won't work. They'll join partial and the thread will continue.
I didn't like the call to throw a TD with you are up 24, but then again this is the playoffs, not the regular season so I can understand the mentality. From the pressers I have seen it appears the Cowboys and the media brought that last TD on themselves. The Cowboys were pretty arrogant all week and the media picked the boys in a blowout. Childress is a world class ass and a pretty poor head coach but the last TD pass was not "classless", i probably would have done the same thing given the way the Vikings were painted as a fading team in the playoffs.
It was different than Green Bay and Arizona but the Cardinals didn't see it that way, it's a hypocritical game. Brookings yaking at the Vikings sideline over the call was "classless" because he would be the first to run up to Romo and congratulate him had the Cowboys done the exact same thing. You aren't in the game to lose, you are in it to win and in the end, even in pre-season, there are no "participation" awards. Contrary to the current belief that everyone is "special" and everyone deserves an "award", life isn't like that, it isn't fair, nor is it going to give you a "hug" when your feelings get hurt. You are responsible for yourself and that's it so I don't really fault anytime for running up a score, I may think it's "classless" but hey, that's life.

i heard reports that he went to a lil wayne concert with harvin and some young lineman during pre-season as a way to establish rapport
frickn ingenius b/c NO WAY his country tail likes that genre of music

This comes back to Patler's point that Favre has changed this year as a teammate and as a player. Accounts before this year were that Favre had grown apart from his teammates but this year he seems to be reaching out more.
