      LOL

ts probably a sign of impending doom that Jennings is the pick to get released yet he is getting first team practice reps today at RG.
UGH, because of course he would. Of all the players to get the reps please Luke Butkus give them to the guy about to be cut. This is why we can't have nice things.

ZBB is done for the year, so Tomlinson can take his roster spot. Zeitler takes Reed's? Becton is on the PS. If I had to guess, they will give the new signings a chance to settle and if they stink they're gone. Gute won't cut anyone like Jennings or Glover until they get these guys in the building for a practice or two. Even if they cut Jennings they can probably get him back on the PS, his film isn't going to create a flurry of line waiver claims.

If Banks gets healthy (and its at least possibe they have all but given up on this) I could also see him getting the start ahead of Tomlinson. Tomlinson is a cheap stop gap.
It's not about the money. It's things like roster spots, practice time, placating veterans' egos, short-term vs. long-term planning, etc. They have accumulated 7 guys for two starting positions, 4 being long time vets. It's like a training camp roster, not an in-season roster.

It doesn't look like a well-thought-out approach. It looks like panic. It would be reasonable in the off-season.

It absolutely is that given the status of their play but the roster looks like panic because they are going to need a week or 2 to sort out who starts and who stays.

Since I doubt they want to torch the relationship, Banks on short term IR might be in play but he's not going to IR-season unless they want to eat the deal and let him go.

I think they want Banks, but they have been playing "will he, won't he" with him since the start of training camp. It has to be muddling up their planning. Time to put Banks on ice until they know he is ready to go, especially now with a new toe injury along with the knee he has been dealing with. I'm sure they would hope (plan) to get him back in a month or two. By that time, one or more of the new old goats will probably done for a while, if not the season.

Maybe the four guys can give them a seasons worth of games at guard.

This statement is false. The Packers only have the guards that were just signed. Banks is always hurt, and nobody else is an NFL guard. Burton looks like someone you might be trying to develop on the practice squad (if the Packers find a competent coach). I wouldn't trust the others to be crossing guards.

And especially not prison guards. There'd be jailbreaks every day.

Let's just cut Gutebag's bestie Banks. He was a shit signing from day one
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

I'd go the NBA route. I'd have signed Zeitler for 2 years and traded Banks and 2nd for a 4th in a salary dump move.

Banks has a base salary of 1.2 million. Trading or cutting him right now provides little salary cap relief.

They have paid him about $50,000,000 for nothing.

Banks won't get cute regardless because Gutebag would you to admit the mistake and eat crow

Is there any reason to keep Monk on this roster?

Tony Shaloub is a big fan.

Burton is listed as the backup Center on the depth chart, but Monk is the only Packer other than Rhyan who has played Center in an NFL game.

                              No

However, Gutebag drafted him. So as he's been quoted many times when being questioned about sub par performances from his draft picks, we have to "coach them up"
