  • Official 2009 "Undrafted Free Agency" Thread

McCarthy said in his presser that the scouts for the Packers were already on the phones with some people they wanted to sign and were "jumping on the table."

That's exciting, but who do you think we got? Who should we take a look at. I'd like to see them bring in Everette Pedescleaux and Pannel Egboh (who mysteriously didn't get drafted). Devin Moore, the little speedy RB out of Wyoming might be worth a look if he can demonstrate any competency as a receiver.

Post news here, or at least, who you want us to bring in!

I bet one of them will be a punter.

Look at Oregon's Jeremiah Johnson. Though he is undersized for an everydown running back, he is fantastic in the open field on screen passes. He is also a threat as a punt returner.

Is any team going to be taking Wisconsin's P.J. Hill--a guy who made the mistake of declaring early?

Hopefully Chris Baker from Hampton is on that list.

I hope we're in the bidding for Pedescleaux, he must have interviewed really poorly for someone to not take a flyer on him.

                          Sutton

Sutton is a good RB, he just could'nt stay healthy.

I'm not seeing anything in these WRs other than "guys for the QBs to throw to" during minicamps. I don't know as much about the small school guys, but Brodell never struck me as anything more than gutsy-yet-average.

I haven't seen Sutton play much, what sort of RB is he? We could use a third down back, but I don't know about his top end speed.
