I'm just not that pissed. Played a good team on the road when they had everything to play for, and we lost on the last play. Oh well! In the end it probably won't matter one bit that we lost this game--provided we beat Seattle next week. If we lose to Seattle, then I will be pissed.

And with the Seahawks losing at HOME to the Bucs - they'll be either fired up or done dealing. At least we're not the only team to lose to TB.

And the Bears got killed by a team the Pack beat.

Could be worse.

bad sports weekend for me...BOSTON BRUINS, DALLAS MAVERICKS, PACKERS AND MANCHESTER UNITED all lost. i'm bummin'!!

well...what does this do to us in the playoff picture?

well, it doesn't make life easy for us

we're now ties at 9-5 with dallas, we're both the two wild card teams

giants are at 7-6 and playing a weak washington team tomorrow. they could be 8-6

its gonna be a catfight, when we could have locked things up with one fucking stop today

I think the Skins win tomorrow night. Giants will be tight. For the Skins is's basically their Superbowl..

It hurts in the fact that we had the game freaking won.

Pitts. had the ball on their own 14 with 1 TO. It took 1 missed INT, 1 missed sack, several penalties and one helluva piss poor set defensive play calls (3 man rush) that cost us this game.

Time of possession and the missed FG had a part in this for sure. But if ARod would have thrown a pick on the last drive, how many would have been screaming about how he can't bring a team back in crunchtime?

Woodson had a very subpar game.

Guess I'd rather lose another AFC game and have the Seahawks and Cards to finish the season. Tough to go into the playoffs with a gigantic streak - maybe this wakes them back up.

steelers just exposed a giant weakness. our coverage sucks. we have one great CB, one decent one in t-will. then guys that have no right being in the nfl

We won't miss the playoffs. That I'm not worried about.

Do we seriously want to be in the playoffs? We're obviously one and done. We have way too many penalties over and over, no depth in the secondary, lack of pass rush, etc. I just don't see how we could possibly succeed if we did get in.

The Packers will roll the Seahawks next week. Mark my words. We'll head into Arizona 10-5. The question is will we have to win to get in?

It's much easier to defend against three when you are allowed to hold. Jolly was grossly held on the final pass. Refs called everything else on that final drive; should have called that.

that's the point i was trying to get at. with our piss poor coverage, we can't sit back rush three and let qb's have all day to find an open guy. because with our weak secondary, someone will get open

Then the don't call the hold on him on the final play! Easy TD pass against who? Man our CBs are weak depth.

Refs haven't called much oline holding - but have no problem calling def holding.
