Raiders acquired Jason Campbell from the Redskins in exchange for a fourth-round pick in 2012.

That's true of the 153 picks prior, if you insert the appropriate GM's name. Honestly, I think Thompson's going through menopause.

Who knows if the guy will be good, but he sounds mildly intriguing (he timed faster than Finley). What if Ted hits a homer on this pick and we have two TEs that can stretch the field?
Isn't that exactly what we are saying when we say we hope he has significantly more potential than the BPAs at other positions?

I've never been to Happy Valley, but from what I hear...all you do is drink.

So, what did he mean? Is there a rumor we are trading for a Tampa LB?

            • on espn they're saying quarless has 1st round talent but 5th round questions... looks like a WR out there.

j mike all over again, TT loves that 'player' .. worth a 5th imo

                • Vikings pick Chris DeGeare
[QUOTE=George Cumby] ...every draft (Ted) would pick a solid, dependable, smart, athletically limited linebacker...the guy who isn't doing drugs, going to strip bars, knocking around his girlfriend or making any plays of game changing significance.

                  • Lol, Mort on ESPN just said "Did you see Shelton Quarles to the Packers?" I think he meant Quarless, because Shelton Quarles is 39 and has been retired in 2006.

Just passing along the information from the asses mouth.

                    • I think I don't mind this pick so much. If he can push D Lee out and become even a little like Finley I will like it very much. I don't expect much from him for a few years though.

Most are saying it eloquently. Most are saying "WTF" or "we don't need a TE".

                          • This is just the point in the draft that teams start taking chances on guys with talent but questions, regardless of position.

Expect something other than a WR or a CB at 169 too.

I don't like this pick either. I'd have taken Moats or that WR from South Florida.

TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER
