Now what the hell am I going to do with my Favre jersey?[/quote
You still have one of those??
Well I had converted it to a #41 Havner, but that's shot all to hell.
I'm not entirely sure how to pull this off, but making it a 47 would be !ZOMBO! You could add exclamations and other punctuation as needed for the conversion.

45 minutes after the deadline, still no official notifications.
Every other team has now released cuts. WHY?
What's to be gained at this point?
Last year the Packers announced cuts at 6:02 PM Central time. I figure that we can expect about the same time today.
It's not like "here are our cuts" is something NFL teams get excited about, I mean a bunch of guys just lost their jobs. I imagine it's kind of a bummer for all involved.

Not every team has made an official announcement. Only three of PFTs cut blurbs have come off the team websites. Everything else is off reporters Twitter accounts.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

So, 31 other teams don't care about their players but we do?
Not buying it. This is the type of unexplainable bs that'll drive you nuts.
Jeff Blumb, the Packers media guy, had a twitter post about Bedard sitting outside Lambeau with binoculars. I think they're a little annoyed that the media is not respecting the players who lost their jobs.
That said, we all want to know. The media is just doing their jobs. I'm sitting here waiting for the final roster.

Justin, this kind of backs up my point. When the media has to sit outside Lambeau with binoculars that suggests that the team is maybe just a little "too closemouthed".
If you really care about the players, you could start telling them earlier. There are other ways than not confirming anything.
Blumb and Bedards twitter war backs that up too. When your local paper is saying that you "wouldn't confirm the sun coming up", that's more than friendly banter.
Are there reasons to shut up? Of course. Are there ALWAYS reasons to shut up? No.
