I'm not pissed at all. I marvel at the lack of basic reasoning, but sure would be willing to listen if someone really knew. Lots of speculation, but again, nobody really understands the "why".

Interesting tweet. I don't think the depth at OLB is that bad, or Safety either for that matter. Peprah has played well. Corner is streched at the moment but when you've got two starters in the secondary on PUP, that happens.

Ted couldn't do much today, unless he was really willing to give up draft choices. That's never likely.

I'm mixed on Havner. He was a fun guy to root for, but it makes me wonder what they see in Crabtree. He must really be kicking some ass.

Jeff Blumb has apparently confirmed that Breno has eligibility but waldo keeps insisting it can't be true since it's the guys 3rd season.

The Green Bay Packers released 20 players and will place two on injured reserve. The transactions were announced Saturday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.

Released Saturday were punter Chris Bryan, tackle Chris Campbell, wide receiver Jason Chery, cornerback D.J. Clark, center/guard Evan Dietrich-Smith, wide receiver Charles Dillon, linebacker Robert Francois, tackle Breno Giacomini, quarterback Graham Harrell, tight end Spencer Havner, linebacker Alex Joseph, safety Anthony Levine, running back Kregg Lumpkin, linebacker Cyril Obiozor, linebacker Maurice Simpkins, defensive end Ronald Talley, nose tackle Anthony Toribio, wide receiver Chastin West, wide receiver Patrick Williams and defensive end Jarius Wynn.

Tackle/guard Allen Barbre and safety Will Blackmon will be placed on injured reserve.

we're fine at safety and just as good at OLB as we were last year when we had one of the top defenses in the nfl

we're scary thin however at CB. if tramon or woodson get hurt we're toast

kor is worthless, get use to starting at about the 20 ever single time all year

they must have had to place barbre and blackmon on the IR while they agree to an injury settlement so they can be released.

Yeah. Me too. I liked EDS. Provided adequate depth. I want to know what we were offered but declined for Spitz. Not much difference between the two...
