we came out and looked, blah, in every aspect of the game today

defense looked nothing like what we were use too, offense looked blah. special teams was it's usual sucky self. and the play calling and decision making were pretty horrible

and we still almost beat the best team in the nfl

Yup, you just defined what a better team doesn't do and the HC is the playcaller in GB too and hence responsible.

Packers is a good team - will they get over the hump? That's the Q. I think that's a tall task for mediocre McCarthy. Too tall.

we played a really good team and nearly won it...even with the mistakes. should have won it. we knew this was going to be a good measuring stick. not that disappointed.

The playcalling early on the goal line with 3rd and 1 was putrid. I don't know why we ran the ball in those situations. Still Rodgers fumbling took 3 points away. We played just bad enough to lose another one.

Huh?? I don't get this.

We played a team that is 8-2 at their place. ATL has all of their offensive weapons and we held them to 20 points.

In all reality we should have won this game. The ST was poor, mistackles all over, the refs miss a dropped pass on 4th down by ATL before half and GB doesn't challenge. And we fumble at the ATL 1 yard line. Any of those and we win the game.

How about ARod sliding feet first 3 times and getting hit on 2 of them and no penalty is called? ATL played a damn good game and we hung with them the whole game even with all of our fuck ups. We held ATL to 315 total yards. Ryan didn't even throw for 200 yards.
