I have a hunch he may have decided that 2 years in federal prison was enough to make sure that Vick wouldn't go back to killing dogs. Jolly's only been clean for a few months.
    I can't run no more
    With that lawless crowd
While the killers in high places
    Say their prayers out loud
But they've summoned, they've summoned up
    A thundercloud
They're going to hear from me - Leonard Cohen

No, but they should've waited to see if Buress could go a while without shooting himself

Lifespan of an NFL career is so short, taking more time away from a guy like that is pretty close to a life sentence, and preventing him from earning a living. I'm surprised a case like this doesn't end up in court for that reason. I'm sure there's something in the CBA that tries to prevent it, but being as he's banned from the league, the CBA wouldn't apply to him, would it?

So it's easier to be reinstated if you're convicted of a violent crime. I get it.

I had the impression Jolly was the leader of a drug ring or something like that. I think he had a pretty big problem down there.

He should be reinstated though. Like everyone said, there have been guys who have done as bad, or worse things and made it back.

He wasn't. He was an end-user and the Texas laws are retarded. It's been covered over and over.

He's just following the leads wherever they take him. Hopefully, to a nice juicy press release.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

This goddamn thread won't die. Every time it pops to the top of the page, I think there is some good news. But no, it's some mook reporting "no word yet" or "I wonder what Goodell is gonna do."

I hope that Jolly gets run over by a truck so I don't have to endure the constant dissapointment.
