Rogers broke his collarbone 2 years in a row and the Lions were pissed because he was always hurt. He smoked some weed I guess but they could write into his contract that if he gets suspended he voids the contract. The games I saw when he was healthy he looked scary good. Plus, I'm sure he'd love to play the Lions twice a year. Thanks Ted!

Dean, you gotta have priorities, you know? I just don't get it. Why look like a slob? He's gotta have a closet in his office. Couldn't he spend 5 minutes putting on a freakin' polo shirt and a pair of dockers?

if any team picks up charles rogers off waivers in the 1st 24 hours after he was cut they have to assume the balance of his salary. if no one claims him in 24 hours you can sign him to a new contract.

Always respect your opponent, even when you're kicking the crap outta him.

If I recall, his contract is palatable. I'd think if you had a desire to sign him, you could assume his contract and not risk losing him when he is free to go wherever he wants to go.
I'm not advocating him coming here, but SOMEONE is coming here, that's for sure.

He's in the fourth year of his rookie contract. Shouldn't his salary be managable by now?Originally posted by FritzDontBlitzif any team picks up charles rogers off waivers in the 1st 24 hours after he was cut they have to assume the balance of his salary. if no one claims him in 24 hours you can sign him to a new contract.

Well, Bellichek is a slob. I swear that guy looks like a car burglar most of the time. Would it really surprise anyone if the Boston police pulled him out of a dark alley in that damn hooded sweatshirt?....

Yeah, I know he looks like he just came from a workout at the Y or doing some yard work.Originally posted by retailguyOriginally posted by digitaldeanThey must have cut his clothing allowance at 1265....Originally posted by retailguy

Well, Herron puzzles me as well. They definitely like him. I haven't seen it, yet, but maybe it is because he can play some fullback and he doesn't mind?
Davenport basically said he wouldn't play fullback, so who knows? davenport was no great loss, per se. I agree that he was better than Herron, but what the hell do we know?
