San Fran and NO are definitely a step ahead of us, maybe a few. Seattle "might" be as well. I'm not sure if we are better than the Vikes or not.

With that being said, gotta be happy with the team as they are doing better than nearly everyone expected
I agree. I never expected this team to go the Super Bowl. I just felt they had get back to winning football. They've done that. Any playoff success will be icing on the cake. 2020 is the year they can hopefully be back among the elite.

    • There are problems. But this team can get to the Owl. Doesn't look likely now, but NO and SF don't scare me.

Would much prefer playoffs to be at home though.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

So did the Chargers. Do the Chargers scare you?

Issue with the Packers isn't the opponents. Until the defensive secondary shows it can defend the middle of the field, I don't see them competing with the top 3 teams.

I am not promising it's easy. I am just saying they should be competitive in each game.

              • I don't disagree with you, but a big pass rush team like the Niners would seem to be the toughest of the three, especially if we need to go back to their place.
What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

Ah, just like the old days. "He was YOUR guy!"

                  "No, he was YOURS."

                  "What's my assignment again?"

We actually won our last super bowl without covering anyone over the middle

That’s the year that whole mess started

                      Nick Collins?

                      • Seeing Collins, Woodson and Harris confused over coverages was especially disheartening.

                        • The only team substantially better than the Packers 34 point differential (Points For - Points Against) are the 49ers and I don't believe in them. NO is at 50 which is low for a 2 loss team at this point in the season.

Heck, I might be more worried about the Vikings at +77. But that team makes no sense to me as they struggle like they do on offense at times.

                          • Packers struggled versus a lot of good TEs over the Favre/Rodgers years. Anyone remember having to put Butler on Jay Novacek?

                            • What this team really, really needs is an inside linebacker who can cover and shed blocks and tackle against the run. How were we to know Raven Greene was the key to the whole thing?

If Packers had any sense, you draft DK Metcalf and make him the Nitro LB.
