The final replay they showed looked awful. Instead of being rolled up and just over stretched, it was holding in a normal position and suddenly gave way. Sideways.

Losing Wyatt is a huge blow, but Hafley is a more resourceful DC than we've had in a while. MLF has done a good job of adjusting the offense after losing Kraft (it took a couple of weeks). Hafley will need to do the same.

30 passes 21 runs 4 end arounds today. Opposed to that horribly called game in Philly where we had 36 passes and 22 runs with no end arounds. Wait...I thought one of the big complaints was he runs to many end arounds? Must be the horribly called game in Carolina where we had 37 passes 22 runs and one end around.

MiLF isn't calling bad games, he is simply having less success against an Evero and Fanzio defense than he has against....I don't even know who the Lions DC is. If the critique is that he is handcuffing Love I would say the game where he threw 20% LESS passes should be the game we didn't like.

I wonder if the Browns would take Gary, 2 seconds and a WR for the best edge in the game.

We couldn’t afford to pay his salary.
A further decline in draft picks would be difficult.

I sure feel like the Pack has very few offensive possessions this season.

Packers rank 19th in number of drives this year. https://www.pro-football-reference.c...25/#all_drives

But they've played one more game than all but 1 of the teams ranked lower than them. So they'll be ranked lower than that after rest of games this week.

I'll preface this stating that I've only watch the game to half-time and I'll finish watching the rest today, hopefully. So, what is up with McManus kicking every kickoff in the 1st half (maybe more after half time) into the end zone in this game. You're giving the Lions, who have one of the best offenses in the league, excellent field position, every single kick off! Does this mean Bissacia doesn't trust his kick off unit? What gives?

Then there was the Vikings game, where LeFleur ran it 42 times and passed 23. And the Giants game, where they rushed 23 times and passed 28.

The point is that yes, several people, myself included, do think The Flower has really, really tried to force the run when the running game just wasn't there. And I DID say, in another thread, that perhaps my criticism after the Vikes game was not warranted, once I learned Love was playing with an injured left shoulder. And yes, the success matters - and it sure looked to me like the offensive line was blocking better in the Detroit game, so the run game looks better.

These are all factors. But my impression remains that The Flower loosened things up more than he has most of the season in that Detroit game on Thursday. Seemed like he put the game on Love's shoulders. Probably the best example came at the end of the game. Third and three, I think. Instead of running the ball to inch closer, then trying the run again on fourth, LeFleur gave Love and company two shots to pass for a first down. That's a different kind of play calling than I think we've seen for much of the season.

2 wins. I thought we only didn't like his play calling when we lose. The point is that LaFleur is calling his game and he always does. People who "like" this last game better simply like the results. We ran more in those 2 games because we were winning (like Charlie Sheen).

My criticism wasn't only aimed at you, I like your posts and contribution. I just think the old "bad play calling" gets old. Now, in the fat mike regime where everyone on the planet knew that 3rd and 1 was going to be a fullback dive.....well, that was bad. Fat Mike is a bad football coach overall. He is a man who has been blessed by coaching great talent most of his career.

Well, we have a 5 year track record of consistency so I think we can know that answer with confidence.
