He has the option to, but it is not required under the new extension.

I’ll be interested to see if he feels any changes need to be made,
One major change will likely he forced on him (Hafley) which could lead to other changes. On offense, I'm hoping they look at the OL coach position.

Personally if I had been extending MiLF I would have demanded he promise me Bookers knee will be destroyed in the next meeting between the teams. We won't win a street fight playing like nice guys. I just watched NFL network where they were saying "awe shucks, its no big deal how Ben Johnson acted, the bears needed a not nice guy". Fine, they think this was all fine so if the packers were to retaliate with a few dirty hits on Booker I'm assuming they would be fine with that as well.

But MiLF won't do it. Its my only gripe with him as a coach. He wants to play a sport, but football is part gladiator and you either embrace that, or the gladiators will dismantle you. I think the Bears will lose big today because I don't think they can get nearly as motivated to play the Rams as they did to play us, and the Rams are probably better than we were at game time.
TJ Lang would have gone after Bookers.

TJ Lang said they need to bring back James campen as offensive line coach. Campen is in the organization right now as a scout for OL.

          • McDermott getting fired will undoubtedly be compared to LaFleur getting an extension from the Packers. 2 coaches who have had regular season success but not much playoff success.

Completely shocks me that McDermott was fired.

Who else are they going to get, Tomlin? I think any of the up and comers are a crap shoot.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

Some people just don't want to let it go.

The new vice president of the Bills isn't going to hire competition either.

                    • it will be an internal promotion - Covington or Ainsley. And then everyone else moves up, so the Packers don't have to pay for really good assistants. It's the Packer Way!

Raheem would be a safe, solid, logical pick. I wouldn't mind an out of the box pick. Like Hafley.

Maybe. But the Packers last 4 DC's have been outside hires.
