Bringing back Campen would be a huge upgrade IMO
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

        • Steelers are interviewing Brian Flores and Mike McCarthy today. I wonder if either one would want Aaron Rodgers around.

Yea, Schwartz is presumably available now. A good asshole to compete with Ben Johnson is high on my radar.

Bobble you gotta update that wall calendar with the girls on it leaning over Super Stock drag racers. Rex Ryan hasn't coached since 2016. Its going on 10 years.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

The Schwartz did have a head coach interview with the Browns.

No. I don't consider Justis Mosqueda "one twitter guy." He does a lot of research and has numbers and arguments. He's not just spouting unfounded opinions. Darren Rizzi is his most prominent example of the Packers low-balling a guy who was a respected NFL coach. Promotions of guys like Luke Butkus and Adam Stenavich are other examples. Moving guys from one position group to another like the WR coach is another. The fact that the Packers' assistant coaches had far, far less combined coaching experience than any other NFL playoff team is another.

So no, not just some twitter guy.

Mosqueda also has coached in college (not Division 1) some and has special team coaching contacts elsewhere. He's as close to an authority as it gets among free website beat writers, which means he knows enough to get himself into trouble.

But I agree with Fritz it makes him worth considering.

The payscale isn't the end all, be all. LaFleur might prefer it that way on offense and they have spent on the D side. But it seems this would come to bear on the development of the draftees.

                            • The problem with Schwartz is that he runs his system and not other peoples. He runs the Rex Ryan version of Buddy Ryan's defense. That became the wide 9 front, etc etc.

He will need a personnel makeover and the Packers might not have the draft capital to pull that off.

Aware, that's why I said I'd settle for his acolyte. I know Rex isn't going to coach again. I doubt he has any desire at all. But I see him as the best defensive mind of his era so I still bring him up....and he said Leonhard was a coach on the field in his day. The smartest defensive player he ever coached.
