I don't think anything drastic happens. I think MLF gets a two year extension and is shitcanned next year if the same thing happens again.

...and if I'm wrong and something drastic does happen....i really don't give a shit anymore.

And then we sign Nate Hobbs; great guy; marginal player.

Our cornerback room SUCKS. And then we wonder how our DC can get a job. They can't over anybody, and that is why we went from having a 95 percent chance to win to zero

WHERE is the What should Policy do with the marginal GM GUTEBAG ?
Seems most of those D collapses this year were more a result of the players being gassed because the offense is goin 3 and out all the time.

Do you think he was the most impactful player in the league those years? I do not. Got a little James Harden to him.

This is exactly what happens IMO.

I don't think the Packers go 3 and out an inordinate amount of the time. 3 in a row is unusual and in this game they went 3 and out twice with a 3 and 5 capper in the third period.

Sometimes the D needs to get its own butt off the field. Four touchdowns should win the game.

You said he had no QB. If Lamar falls to third most impactful does that equate to no QB?

I hope you have a conversion chart handy.

Having watched the weekends games I am more convinced than ever that this team is not far off.

As I said earlier there are two holes (interior O line and CB) and one area that needs a makeover (D line).

I am more than ever voting to keep going.

I do want them to open the damn wallet and sign some serious coaches though. Offense and Defense (if Hafley leaves).

The margin for error is slimmer than you'd like without a 1st round pick and next to no room for Free Agents. But a new coach doesn't change that.

Maybe, but like it or not, today's NFL is all about winning, and the majority of fans don't care about in depth analysis of how far away we are, or injury excuses, or whatever. America football is about winning...period, and if the majority of the fan base, and the sports reporters favor canning the coach, it usually gets done.

Quite true. People see an early exit for the fourth time and think they are onto something. Which is why I would open the wallet for whatever assistants LaFleur wants to help develop the talent.

But if there is a scapegoating gonna happen and it doesn't touch Gutenkunst, then the problem such as it is won't have been excised.

Listening to ESPN this morning, they certainly seem to think that Policy's aim is to work out an extension with La Fleur. It would be an interesting development if Policy tells LaFleur he needs to upgrade his coaching staff and the team is willing to pay whatever it takes to make it happen.

Its going to have to be a La Fleur demand for his next staff. Packers won't change this long standing cheapness just because we are yelling on the internet at them.
