bummer; anybody else we can dump Steno on ??

Vrable was going to file Flower and sounds like he held off doing it til GB had made their coaching call.

Some pondered if Flower was doing the same with Steno

I was just hoping somebody else hired him

Bretsky, it’s not the coordinator. It’s been happening for two decades.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

            AHHHHH

I love that somebody is hinting at something that is rarely brought out.

GUTEBAG, gives very little focus to Special Teams. Would love to hear, others expand on this though, or I can )

However, some of the failures, might be the coaching, right ?

Certainly, especially with the bargain bin coaches the Packers hire at times. But the move to get starters off the ST seems at this point to be driven from the top for a long time. Likely around Ted's ascendancy.

If anybody is interviewing Stenavich for OC - a parallel position, it would need to be with Packer permission, right?

I wouldn't mind at all seeing him gone or demoted back to O Line coach.

Somebody said "bargain bin" coaches. Bisacchia isn't that, and he would seem to be the prime example of a crap assistant coach.
What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

MLF has made it clear he won't stop Stenavich from taking an OC position with playcalling duties. But he doesn't have to.

Did Buffalo make the difficult decision that Green Bay did not?

Help me feel better about this, please!
If Kraft and Parsons aren't on IR, Packer make it to the Championship game, if not further.

I think even Flower knows he adds little as an OC. Gut tells me he wants him to go. But they are buddies, and we all know Flower doesn't like to let go of his buds. And if it does, he'll milk the timeframes out who the high end options are gone

Another Packers assistant is getting an interview: QBs coach Sean Mannion is interviewing with the Eagles for their open offensive coordinator job.

The Titans plan to hire Brian Daboll as their offensive coordinator, per
                          @AdamSchefter
. Daboll remains a candidate for the Raiders' head-coaching job.

Packers OC Adam Stenavich was a finalist for the Titans' OC opening.

Looks like Steno might not be getting an OC job. Does MLF make Sean Mannion OC if he really wants to keep him?

The Eagles cannot keep people on their OC list. Daboll and the ever in demand Charlie Weis Jr. have dropped from consideration and not for the usual -no longer being considered for the job- reasons.

I'm not confident that would have happened. The Packers under LaFleur lose too many games they should have or could have won.

Over the course of the LaFleur years, and basically for over three decades, the Packers have been consistent winners. Anybody dumb enough to whine about that should consider the big picture - what life is like as a fan of maybe 28-30 other teams around the league. I'll take what we have.

As for LaFleur, I get a little bit annoyed at times too with his play calling, time management, choice of assistant coaches, etc., but the bottom line is, the guy is a winner. We all benefit from that, and it would be bonehead stupid to get away from that.
Injuries are not an excuse for coaches to lose, they are an opportunity for a coach and his staff to show they are not ordinary. Did LaFleur and his staff show anything special this year? LaFleur's plan for this season did not include having Parson's, yet that is too often given as an excuse for the team's complete collapse.

How successful have the Packers really been the past 30 years? Sure, lots of success during the seasons, making season play very fun. I know that is the most important thing for you, Tex, you have said it many times. That's fine. On the other hand, the team's goal has to be more than that. They have had 34 consecutive years with Favre followed by Rodgers followed by Love netting just 3 SB appearances and only two wins. That is not outstanding success, especially when you consider they have had only one SB appearance (and win) in the last 28 years.

28 years - 1 Super Bowl with 25 of those years having HoF QBs.
