Mannion went from journeyman backup QB to QB coach to now Offensive Coordinator in what? 2 or 3 years? If I was an Eagles fan, I would be saying, "Who?"

It's a tribute to LaFleur that some of these guys move up to higher positions. I can't help thinking, though, that he is a little bit overrated.
What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

Could be a big loss. Eagles stole him and we're stuck with an ugly EGGS at all of our coordinator positions.

ESPN today actually questions if the Flower should have just promoted him to OC and dumped the Flowers Friend, who nobody seems to want.

Did Stenovich get an interview with the Eagles ????

Either LaFleur knows good coaching or he doesn't. But either way, Mannion is wet behind the ears as a coach. He's been coaching for 2 whole years and is now OC. Eagles didn't land their preferred choices and have now hired a newb. Doesn't seem like a good setup.

The Bills and Packers requested interviews with Cardinals pass game specialist Connor Senger, who will interview for both teams’ quarterbacks coach jobs, per sources.

A former college QB, Senger called plays at this week’s East-West Shrine Bowl. He’s only 30.

Cardinals were 7th in passing yards and 12th in passer rating in 2025 with backup Jacoby Brissett starting 12 games.

The biggest issue the last few years with the Packers offense has been their offensive line. The lines the last 5 years have been pretty average. Some good players but all with flaws that seem to be exposed at the absolute worst times. Little things like false starts that change 2nd and 4 into a 2nd and 9. holding calls and the worst failure of all, missing blocking assignments on stunts and delays that run right up thru the A and B gaps. Those misses up the middle destroy an offense.

Again, I think the line coaching has been really poor the last few years. Butkus ? Stenavich ? Both ?

If they don't make any changes to that part of the coaching staff, they will repeat the same mistakes as this apst year.

I have zero confidence in Flower's ability to make the decisions that need to be made with his coaching staff. I think he's a coward in terms of letting coaches go who are doing shit jobs. Richie, Adam, and our lovely OL coach Bitkiss strike as as painfully obvious examples.

And yes, I do blame Gutebag, quote a bit for our failure in Special Teams. But the penalties, mental and physically breakdowns, and consistently being the bottoms 5 units year after year after year, that still rings as being unacceptable.

And yes, you don't need to ask me what a shit ball Richie Gannon was. Obviously, I wanted Jimmy. If not my Jimmy, I wanted the other Jimmy, who did "not" get hired in Cleveland like many thought he would.

Now we know for fact that Campen wanted to (or at a minimum was ok with) returning to coaching.....and we lost him.

When you look at all the mid to late round guys he developed this is nothing short of disappointing. But the flower is what he is

Campen was lost originally so they could install the Shanahan outside zone with LaFleur. A form of which was a modest success when they had Ryan Grant and James Starks and Campen. But I'm not sure that was enough to convince LaFleur it was going to work this time and he likely wanted someone to help him install his run offense.

I've rarely been more stunned than when they made it work with that O line. People bad mouthing Stenavich now must have forgotten that.

I don't remember if Campen had experience with the inside power game they are running now. Aaron Jones was an inside runner who both liked to juke in the hole and spin from tacklers. Jacobs is an old school I formation back. You can't spell 'mismatch of personnel to skeme' without p-a-c-k-e-r.

I think its less about scheme and more about dedication to practicing and executing it. I recall a RB who had been with Washington coming over and saying something like "The Redskins dedicate about 3x more practice time to the run than the Packers do". That was during the fat mike era.

According to Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, the Las Vegas Raiders are preparing to hire Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak as the team's next head coach.

What this means: A year ago, Packers offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich interviewed in Seattle and was considered a front-runner to get the Seahawks offensive coordinator job before Mike Macdonald went with Kubiak. Will Stenavich get another chance in Seattle? He does not call plays in Green Bay, and Matt LaFleur has offered him opportunities to interview for play-calling positions. It's possible Macdonald will want another chance to talk with Stenavich before deciding Kubiak's replacement for 2026.

The we'll all be moaning about what a great OC Stenavich was . . .

I suppose the most direct way to tell if Butkus really is a lousy line coach is if former Packer offensive linemen who were mediocre in Green Bay go somewhere else and turn into good starting offensive linemen.

The Packers are naming Luke Getsy their quarterbacks coach, sources say.

After offensive coordinator stints with Chicago and Las Vegas, Getsy returned to Green Bay last year as a senior assistant and now replaces Sean Mannion, who left for the Eagles OC job.

                            @BillHuberNFL

“I’ve got a lot of love for Getsy. He was my quarterback coach my first couple years here in the league. We’ve got a great relationship,” Jordan Love said.

On the former Packers QBs coach who is the new QBs coach.

Getsy was QB coach when Rodgers won back to back MVP's. At the time, it made Rodgers the 2nd oldest player to win MVP, behind Tom Brady.
