Sell it? The field crew is having a hard time GROWING it. It will be fine by our first preseason contest, though.

      Help Wanted:

      Computer Gamer
The last Dragon thread had a vote in which it was decided to run a Madden simulation of the games instead of keeping track of them Fantasy Football-wise. There was some discussion about how we would run it and who would do it.

As the last thread is gone, I don't know who decided to take the task on in its entirety. This means setting it up and running the simulaitons during the season.

Mr. T is willing to help, but cannot take on the entire task. If you are interested, please report to Zig. If no one is found to handle these duties, we will revert to doing this like a Fantasy team.

      Thank you.

MJ, i have madden for ps2 and can create the team if the task hasnt been given to Mr. T. One can create an expensan club with that game, although u have to replace one of the current team. Which division is the Dragons in?

The last we spoke of it on CE, I was under the impression that everyone wanted to take over the Saints schedule, but there was some problem with that. Can you make a custom schedule for it? Mr. T was going to be the consultant on the project, but I got the feeling he didn't want to take the whole thing on himself. Mr. T, please correct me if I'm wrong. The other thing that we were interested in doing and not sure if it were possible was to attach the ps/2 to the internet or record the game so those who were interested could watch it. Please let me know what can be done and we'll check with Mr. T to find out the level of involvement he is interested in having. He and I spoke of it, but I didn't write it on my notes.

I'm not a computer geek, so i dont know if we can broadcast the game live over the Internet. It might be possible however to record each game (though I dont know how), but to show them over the internet, you'll need a large amount of memory or storage space (not sure which; dont know where to find it online). Uploading large files online is also time consuming. However, you can probably cut the file into smaller parts and post them through multiple files.

Again, im not a computer geek so im not 100% sure how stuff like this work.

Do we have any computer geeks to help us with this project?

Wallbangers seems to know a lot about computer....

As a last resort, and only as a last resort, we can probably broadcast the game live through webcams using Instant Messager providers such as AOL, Yahoo or MSN. All you have do is buy a webcom and give your screenname to the person whose willing to broadcast the game. With his/her webcom, that person would record it like hes recording an event using a video camera. For example, if you are using a console like ps2/xbox/game cube/etc., you can "shoot" at a tv screen that has the game on with your web com and broadcast it to anyone who have your screenname (works best with broadband or fast DSL interent servers).

Picture probably wont be good but at least it would give you an idea of whats happening. just a suggestion.

Now that's a new idea no one's suggested yet.

What's going on with the draft? Who are we going to choose?

                    • Right now our head of financial operations is discussing contract terms with one Reggie Bush. If a contract can be worked out before April 29th he is going to be the New Mexico Dragon's number one selection.

                      • I took a daytrip to DC today and while sitting in the sun on the steps to the Lincoln memorial, this kid ran by (I kid you not) wearing a Dragons Football t-shirt. I wanted to snap a picture of him but figured his mother would probably see me and smash my camera or something.

Sorry haven't been around much, but in reality, I haven't had much time and am entrusting full authority to Nutz and Harvey for the draft....as long as they don't have over reigns solely to Tank

The rumor is only partially true; it is very likely on Draft Day Bretsky may be setting up shop at the Atrium in Green Bay watching the draft while setting us House at Curly's Pub for the brewski's.

                            Cheers,

                            • Our negotiator is having a harder time than expected in dealing with Reggie Bush and his Agent. So far they are requesting a 7year contract in the neighborhood of 69 million dollars with close to 26 million of that in guarantees. In my opinion this is going to be a bit difficult.

We NEED to get Reggie Bush down here and have our cheerleaders aka hot escorts whine and dine him for a full week or until he figures out he can't live without the Dragon grails
