edit: Dennard is gone, he was my first choice.

I vote for Louis Nix III, DT, Fighting Irish. He fills a need, Raji is on a 1yr contract and Pickett is unsigned. More importantly to TT, he would quite possibly be rated the BPA is the board fell this way.

We should have a second vote to see who thinks TT will draft someone that wasn't already picked, and that no one voted for. I'd take that option!
Maybe TT keeps banging on the same door and your pick of NT Louis Nix III is realistic in terms of his very possible availability at Pick NO. 21.

    There is this:

His grade is 5.9 and according to my analysis and TT and BPA. If that's compatible with TT's grade for Nix and all other things in terms of prospects are equal. That grade of 5.9 eliminates Louis Nix III from consideration at Pick NO. 21.

Now last year TT worked out a trade down with of all teams the San Fran 49ers and maybe the same thing works out this season as the 49ers position better for a WR and TT trades down to the San Fran NO. 30 and gains a pick.

If he does this will he have a shot at Louis Nix III?

My analysis says that's a weak chance.

      An act of Genius.

No ...rather a prudent move to grab the BPA. Because of the reality that Aaron Rodgers brought to the table in terms of his patience and work ethic.

Ted Thompson's picking him has turned into his most glowing move as Green Bay Packer GM.

Dunno that it's as simple as some pie in the sky grade (assigned by who? NFL.com? Mel Kipper?). As someone else pointed out, Rodgers was a rather unique case - a player talked about as a potential #1 overall sitting there 20 picks later. TT took that bait again a few years later with Brohm a few years later. The Jets did it last year with Smith, although I'm not sure he was ever seriously considered a candidate for #1 overall.

Shazier or Ward? Shazier. I don't even have XFO as the top available OG. I have Bitonio higher.

Shazier here is a no brainer..........or trade back and maybe pick up Ward in the 30s.

I'd grab Shazier.....and if not I think the next BPA is a WR

                          • Cooks is different than Jackson. Height is similar, but weight is not. Cooks is a legit WR, not a gimmick. Steve Smith is the best comparison, and I dont know how much Ive talked about it here, but Smith has been one of my favorite players in the league. I love his game. Needless to say, I love Cooks game. I think he'll be a hell of a player for a long time. He does it all, plays bigger than he is, significantly.

TT got one right and that was his pick of the falling Aaron Rodgers.

What would TT's legacy be without Aaron Rodgers as his teams QB!?
