If you are a Bear fan you have to give serious consideration to the chance that the offense is bottom of the League garbage.Originally posted by George Cumby View PostThe crowd shots last night were priceless. I almost felt bad deriving so much pleasure from something so petty.
Packers improved their D, but it hasn't gotten that good that fast.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Are you sure it hasn't? At least three new high quality starters - great improvements over what had last year, great improvement from Alexander, quality depth of D Backs, Kenny Clark a year older and IMO noticeably better, etc.; It's very possible the Packers are that much better. We beat a damn good Bear team, and suddenly some seem to think the Bears aren't as good as they were thinking/saying just a few days ago hahahahahaha. Let's see what they Bears do over their next few games. What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

The Bears had some good runs, moved the ball a few times and their new WR went for 100 yards. Seems like there was more there for the taking.Originally posted by texaspackerbacker View PostAre you sure it hasn't? But it was the defense's first game too. They will get better. Trubisky not so much.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

There's a lot to like about Trubisky. Physically, he's close to Aaron Rodgers - almost as good, maybe even better mobility, not quite the accuracy and arm strength of Rodgers, but not that far off. He just doesn't have the brain of Rodgers. He does what some in here crave in a QB: unloads it quick into coverage. He was damn lucky he didn't get intercepted a couple more times in that game.
Yes, I think there's room for improvement in the Packer D also. The only time it seemed halfway easy for the Bears, though, was that late 4th quarter drive when the Packers seemed to change things up with less pressure. What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

Especially that he is the Bears QB, at least for Packers, Lions and Vikings fans.Originally posted by texaspackerbacker View PostThere's a lot to like about Trubisky.
The Bears have so much invested in Trubisky that they will stick with him for this season and 2 or 3 more after this season. That will likely hold them back, and "waste" some very good years of defense.

lol. One of the most entertaining things as a Packer fan is watching Chicago draft Quarterbacks.Originally posted by Patler View PostEspecially that he is the Bears QB, at least for Packers, Lions and Vikings fans."Never, never ever support a punk like mraynrand. Tex, you have to admit the Bears offense looked very anemic, especially when passing.Originally posted by texaspackerbacker View PostIt's a strange phenomenon ....... as soon as the Packers beat somebody, that team goes from being the strongest team ever to being a pile of crap - in the eyes of the negativists and detractors anyway. Sheeeeesh!
Refusal to see things like this is a form of Vikings fandom I have encountered in my life (not Ras, his eyes are wide open). Its ALWAYS the other team doing something, never a failure of their own squad.
Its the ref, the pace, the temperature, the travel, the calls, the wind or players (Favre or Rodgers but also McMahon and the Bears) getting the calls.
* Auto correct suspects Ras is Don Was, just so you know.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.
