Why are they playing a new QB? They aren't going to carry 3 QBs and there are two jobs for QB this preseason.

1) Don't get QB1 hurt
2) Get a definitive answer if QB2 is worth anything

Playing QB3 doesn't help with either of the above, thus I think it's stupid.

I thought TJ Slaton played well. He was kind of in their backfield and wrecking their plays with the first team. That’s a really good sign. We already have Clark, Reed, Lowry and Wyatt. A legit 5th guy will allow that DL to be fresh and ferocious at all times. Especially a big guy who can play nose. Clark looks leaner. Give him a break from NT once and a while and let him get after it.

Jake Hanson had two penalties and got destroyed one time. Looks like we have one weak link on the OL unless Tom really comes on.

Hyman looks really natural fielding punts, at least compared to Am Rodgers. I would hate to see Rodgers return punts. He looks confused by the ball flight every time. This year, last year, all the time. He’s not it.
