Hmm... ESPN said that the only reason he dropped was that he only put one sack up in his last five games. Sounds like the whole Packers team. =(.Originally posted by packrulzI don't know, too small maybe?Originally posted by OS PA20.5 sacks last year. Why did he drop!?Originally posted by packrulzThere goes Elvis Dumervil, I'd like to grab a DE yet too.

Kiper was saying it was because he got 15 sacks in the first couple games, a grand total of 1 in his last 5 games.Originally posted by packrulzI don't know, too small maybe?Originally posted by OS PA20.5 sacks last year. Bad combine as well; considered undersized and one dimensional.TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

Yeah, when I first heard about Dumerville he seemed like a big deal. The clips I saw showed that he played really fast with a huge motor. Maybe an OLB in a 3-4 defense?[QUOTE=George Cumby] ...every draft (Ted) would pick a solid, dependable, smart, athletically limited linebacker...the guy who isn't doing drugs, going to strip bars, knocking around his girlfriend or making any plays of game changing significance.

With a few WR's left that may actually produce this next season, TT gets one that can't catch over the middle (Rodgers) and another one who isn't strong enough to play in te NFL (Blackmon). I am sorry here but if you are going to trade your #1 receiver for ONE 2nd rounder then trade that selection away for two more later round picks, you had BETTER come up with two starters with those picks. Right now the only pick I see that "may" contribute is Hawk and I don't think he is an upgrade over anyone we already have. TT had the chance to help the team THIS YEAR, as well as in subsequent years. Instead he is looking 2-3 years down the road and using very HIGH picks on what could arguably be considered "mediocre" at best NFL players. 1 Starter..........1, way to waste the picks..."Once the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the Republic.”

Merlin, glad you're here! Every point of view is welcome, even POV's that sound like they could come from Tank's (Anti-Polar Bear) more polite twin brother.Originally posted by MerlinWizard222With a few WR's left that may actually produce this next season, TT gets one that can't catch over the middle (Rodgers) and another one who isn't strong enough to play in te NFL (Blackmon). Last year I ripped on Collins. That pick showed me something about TT. He is, believe it or not, smarter than I am about football. This year I think TT is acquiring picks like crazy in order to pick up athletes that can for sure bolster special teams and may learn fast enough to bring depth to DB and WR. The WR's in this draft wasn't very strong according to "experts." I am not backing TT's every pick...nor am I hangin' on his juevo sack.
I think his track record in Seattle proves he is capable of finding middle and late round contributors.
Remember there will be vet cuts and waiver wire signings..with the Packers being well under the salary cap.
Good thing Ted Thompson didn't GIVE AWAY picks to move up to the third and draft a pinche punter!!!! A PUNTER IN THE THIRD ROUND!!!!! ROFL!!
I am more excited about this year than any year with Ray Rhodes or Charmin.

Optimistic? Pulease.... Last year it was the BPA theory. This year it's not Need, it's not Want and it's definitely not BPA. The only thing I see here is accumulating picks and taking LONG TERM gambles. He better be smart about the contracts he offers these guys because I see no one special in this group and that includes Hawk. Hawk is going to command a #5 salary when we could have picked someone with immediate impact for that money. He wasn't even at the friggin draft and this is HIS future. I believe that shows the disrespect he has for the NFL. If saomeone is going to offere you millions of dollars before you even play 1 down for them, YOU SHOW UP. When he said he wasn't attending I thought to myself, there is a personality we don't want."Once the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the Republic.”

Kudla's an interesting guy--strong as a tank--reportedly could've one more reps as 225 but was told he already broke record.
This is a guy that was on his deathbed, literally, only a few years ago after OSU had just beat Miami in the Fiesta bowl, with a mysterious virus/ailment. The preacher man read him his last rights or whatever its called, he somehow pulled through put back on the 50ish pounds he lost and 4 years later sets combine record. Character and personality wise he is AK. Not a bad round 5 or 6 pick, can be a rotation guy at end.
