There is usually, though not always, less collateral damage in burning.

I think they shot toward their garage. So the worst that could happen is the Bronco II could have had a hole put in its rust.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

    • Urlacher pities Bert.

“It wasn’t sweet nothings, I don’t know, it was weird. He was upset, it was probably his last game at Soldier Field for sure. He wasn’t himself. He seemed down in the dumps. I felt bad for him,” Urlacher said.
Glazer pointed out that Favre was probably down because the Bears just pounded the Vikings towards irrelevency.
“Nah . . . usually even after you lose, you’ve still got the rest of the season,” Urlacher said. “But he seemed like he was out of it. Like I said, I feel bad for the guy.”
No matter how you feel about Favre — and we know many have enjoyed watching this Vikings season implode — there’s no denying that he’s enduring a deeply depressing season.

        • I think Favre's first inclination this year was to not play because he doesn't respect Childress. Now he's probably wishing he's gone with that.

I also think he probably wouldn't mind if an injury were to keep him from playing. Having his streak end that way would be better than having it ended by the NFL due to Jenngate. The league would probably prefer that too.

Are you suggesting the Packers arrange that for him this week?

In a word - No. I haven't believed most of what Favre has said for a long, long time. Sometime during the Sherman era, I began to realize that Fave talked to impress and manipulate.
