That is night and day from throwing a pass on 4th down at the end of a game.

The Packers pulled AROD early 3rd quarter. Many of their starters played way long than that.

Starters, backups, whatever. The Packers changed the way they were playing the game. When Flynn came in you can't honestly sit here and tell me they were still playing all out trying to run up the score.

And I honestly don't even care about the Vikings scoring at the end, since my team wasn't involved. I just think it's a BS comparison to even compare that to the Packers.

Whatever, I just hope the Vikings get the shit kicked out of them next week.

Same with Arizona! Fitz scored a 4th quarter TD or did you conveniently forget that.

Did you miss the part where Fitz took the TD ball and gave it to the 3rd string QB, who had never thrown a TD pass before?

You think it didn't help having Fitz back there for the guy to get his first TD pass in a non-preseason game? Maybe there is another viewpoint to yours? Maybe? Good grief.

So now an NFL must pull their starters in the 1st half if the other team does or your classless?

If that is the case and I was Cleveland I'd play my 3rd string QB every week and force the other team to do the same so I wouldn't have had to play ARod, Favre, Big Ben and others this year.

The comparision is a joke!

Classless TD by the Vikings! Not surprising!

Classless? Matter of opinion. I can see both arguements but honestly I've seen enough of those go against the Vikes, that I'm glad one went their way.

But the bigger question to me is "not surprising"? How exactly? People really need to keep their emotions out of this. Vikes have not been classless with this ownership or coaching staff. So I don't see your point. Congratulate them and leave it at that if you must. I know I would if the Pack had done the same. And I have.

I'm not gonna go back and look at their comments, but I remember Whisenhunt complaining that Rodgers was still in the game to open the 3rd quarter. Completely different that what the Vikings did.

Besides, don't you think it's possible Whisenhunt said what he did as motivation for his team, regardless of whether he actually believed it or not?

I truly think in the NFC game the home team wins eight out of ten times
So I pick NO and a double digit game would not surprise me. Both stadiums..incredibly loud....great advantage. Should be a fun game but I'm expecting a two TD victory by the Saints. Hope I'm wrong

Jets - Bert = Playoffs

Yes because that's the only change in the Jets org this year.

I love it when some of you start spewing stats when defending him. The only stat that matters is the one in the win column. If Rodgers keeps playing the way he has been that stat will be close to last years. Granted the line isn't great, but great QB's find a way to win.

Jets - Bert = AFC championship game

WTF are you getting at Ty,you still are not making a valid point.
He is just trying to stir shit and get himself banned again. Basic math. 8-)

Any clear attempts at this won't work. They'll join partial and the thread will continue.

I didn't like the call to throw a TD with you are up 24, but then again this is the playoffs, not the regular season so I can understand the mentality. From the pressers I have seen it appears the Cowboys and the media brought that last TD on themselves. The Cowboys were pretty arrogant all week and the media picked the boys in a blowout. Childress is a world class ass and a pretty poor head coach but the last TD pass was not "classless", i probably would have done the same thing given the way the Vikings were painted as a fading team in the playoffs.

It was different than Green Bay and Arizona but the Cardinals didn't see it that way, it's a hypocritical game. Brookings yaking at the Vikings sideline over the call was "classless" because he would be the first to run up to Romo and congratulate him had the Cowboys done the exact same thing. You aren't in the game to lose, you are in it to win and in the end, even in pre-season, there are no "participation" awards. Contrary to the current belief that everyone is "special" and everyone deserves an "award", life isn't like that, it isn't fair, nor is it going to give you a "hug" when your feelings get hurt. You are responsible for yourself and that's it so I don't really fault anytime for running up a score, I may think it's "classless" but hey, that's life.

The media caused a touchdown? I thought it was the pants on the ground.

ive made a few mistakes tonight i see...

carry on wifey

but i was realy adressing the thunder dan stuff

I guess that happens when the BF thread becomes the de facto game day thread. If we had another thread for the game none of this would be here.

quite possibly

This comes back to Patler's point that Favre has changed this year as a teammate and as a player. Accounts before this year were that Favre had grown apart from his teammates but this year he seems to be reaching out more.
